Contemporary Modern Dance :: August – September 2026
This class will create an environment where all levels of experience are welcome to come together on the dance floor in an inviting and non-judgmental space. The instructor will give options for more experienced movers to push their skill-sets while also giving modifications for those who need some scaffolding to level up.
Classes are Tuesdays from 4:30pm – 5:30pm :: August 11th – September 29th, 2026.
This class is taught by Robin Davis and Helen Lee but may be subbed by another teacher. We encourage pre-registration and early purchases of drop-in classes, so that if a class has to be cancelled for health or safety concerns, the teacher can let you know by email. If you are doing a last-minute drop-in class and want to be assured there is no unexpected last-minute cancellation, you can let the teacher know you plan to attend at robindavisdances@gmail.com.
If we have to cancel a class, we will schedule a makeup class at the end of the series or will elongate the upcoming classes to make up the time. The series class pass is for the current session; we do not offer individual make-ups for absences through our series class pass. We pay our teachers and administrators $22/hr for their teaching time, prep work, and administration for this series. Thanks for supporting pay to artists and understanding that we cannot offer refunds for missed classes.
