Khecari’s Conversation Score Practice :: April-May 2026
This movement practice created and facilitated by Jonathan Meyer and Julia Antonick will create an environment where all levels of experience are welcome to come together on the dance floor in an inviting and non-judgmental space. This series will also serve as an alternative audition opportunity for dancers to express interest in working with Khecari and to get a feel of being in the studio with the directors.
Practices are Wednesdays from 12pm – 2:00pm :: April 8th, 22nd, 29th, May 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, 2026.
12pm :: studio opens
12:15-12:30pm :: Julia and Jonathan will explain the score. People who are already oriented to the score can warm up in the room or arrive at 12:25pm to jump right into dancing.
12:30-1:30pm :: we will begin our hour long dance conversation practice together.
1:30-2pm :: we talk about our experiences
This practice may be subbed by another facilitator. We encourage pre-registration and early purchases of drop-in passes, so that if a practice has to be cancelled for health or safety concerns, the facilitator can let you know by email. If you are doing a last-minute drop-in and want to be assured there is no unexpected last-minute cancellation, you can let the facilitator know you plan to attend (julia@khecari.org or jonathan@khecari.org).
