ARTIST BIOS
Caitlin Wonsowski (they/she) is a Chicago-based emerging dance maker and performer. Since achieving their Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College Chicago in 2024, they have been working as a freelance artist, doing improvisational performances, and working under choreographers such as Phillip Wood, Sara Wagenmaker, and kt williams. They were selected to perform in pieces by Hanna DiLorenzo and Shota Miyoshi in New Dances 2025, and in The Seldoms performance of Superbloom POP! at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. Their choreography focuses on research, based in the intersection of psychology and movement. A collaborative artist, they have choreographed works such as “Upraise of Uncertainty” with Wyatt Sutter and “Echoes of Conditioning”. Since 2024, they have been developing an evening length work-in-process,“Sixty-Five 14” made in partnership with Najah Iman, which has been featured at several Midwest dance festivals, and will premiere July 2026.
Dani Oblitas is a dance artist and choreographer based in Chicago, IL. Dani has had the pleasure of performing with Helen Lee, 773 Dance Project, Erin Kilmurray, and Albany Park Theater Project/Third Rail Projects among others. Currently, they are a collaborator and performer with kt williams + artists, Sildance/Acrodanza, and Ishti Collective. Dani has presented work at Links Hall as a CO-MISSION Resident, FACT/SF Summer Dance Festival, Going Dutch, and Outlaw of the Arts. In 2026, Dani was selected as the Durational Artist at RADFest. Dani is an Essential Level Spiral Body Techniques® certified teacher, a movement framework founded by Molly Shanahan/MadShak.
Kelly Kosiek is an artist born and raised in Chicago where she began her early dance training. She furthered her training and education at Point Park University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance. Her performance experiences include works by Rennie Harris, Jessica Lang, Daniel Herman, Noelle Kayser, Natasha Adorlee, Rigo Saura, Paula Sousa, and Sarita Smith Childs. Her experiences have led her to perform on stage, in film work, and in site-specific work in museums, festivals and retreats throughout the United States and on an international level. These experiences include participation in work at the Chicago Cultural Center, Chicago Live!, Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, and Ragdale among others. Kelly was part of Hedwig Dances’ 40th anniversary tour to Germany in connection with The Bauhaus as the institution also celebrated their 100th anniversary. During this time she had the honor to perform work by Hedwig Dances’ Artistic Director Jan Bartoszek at Schaubühne Lindefels as their season opener and at the Bauhaus Dessau. Additionally, Kelly really values freelance work, the freelance community and the collective creative energy she has had the joy to participate in throughout Chicago as well. Apart from performance, Kelly has choreographed work during her time at Point Park University and around the Chicagoland area. Previously a member of Inaside Chicago Dance, Kelly is currently with Hedwig Dances as of 2023 and is excited to be a part of this project with Khecari.
